James 1:27 Orphan & Widows Care

The HIV/AIDS pandemic has left so many children orphaned. Many of those children are in the care of their grandmothers who are also widows. As a ministry we have began a Widows Subsidy Fund to help the Elderly women who are having to take care of their grandchildren.

An example of such a case is of an elderly woman in Uganda called Mama Florence. She is a 78 year-old widow whose 5 sons died of AIDS and is now forced to take care of her 8 grandchildren who are aged between 3 - 6 years old. Her condition is so pathetic because the house they live in is a single mud-brick house.

Our desire is to support such women having small businesses
